Linear monoblock for filling beverage cans

The MLE-CAN offers an economical solution for filling beer, non-carbonated and carbonated beverages in cans in the low output range.

The filling system is made of high-quality stainless steel and consists of:

• linear rinser for rinsing the cans
• linear high-performance pressure filler
• Can lid dispenser
• Folding station

In the linear electro-pneumatic rinser, the cans are gripped at the outer edge of the lid by grippers and turned upside down by a chain system with stepper motor. The spray nozzle is inserted 15 mm into the can neck. The injection time can be set from the control panel. Injection only takes place when the can is present. There is no contact between the can and the injector. The dripping liquid is collected in a closed circuit without wetting the machine.

The electro-pneumatic filling tubes used in the pressure filler allow carbonated and non-carbonated products to be processed without restriction. The filling result is perfect both at a pressure of 0 bar and at a pressure of up to 4 bar. The complete sealing of the filling valve makes decompression much easier, even with difficult products. This makes it possible to fill foaming media even at room temperature. Before filling, the injection of neutral gas into the can ensures that the oxygen in the can is replaced by CO², for example. All circuits are canalized and the machine is prepared for CIP cleaning.

On the linear can lid dispenser, the lids are released individually from the loading device and fed to the cans via a chute. A gripper removes the lids and places them on the cans with light pressure. To reduce the oxygen content in the can, neutral gas is injected into the head area when the lid is placed on the can.

At the folding station, the lid is folded onto the can to ensure a perfect seal.

The user-friendly PLC control system allows all filling parameters to be optimally adjusted to the product and monitored.
