The story
The history of CLEMENS begins in the summer of 1952 with the founding of a locksmith's shop and hardware store by the brothers Bernard, Nikolaus and Matthias Clemens. Under the motto "Courage to start and then act carefully", Bernard Clemens expands the business area from 1970 to include manual cellar appliances with his own patents.
The year 1975 marks the beginning of the cooperation with the company GAI in Italy marked the company's entry into bottling technology, which from 1977 was supplemented by labeling technology from ENOS from Italy. In the years that followed, the cellar technology division of CLEMENS Technology continued to develop.
Technology with creativity
The portfolio is gradually being supplemented by tanks from LETINA in Croatia, equipment technology from GAI, microfiltration and CIP systems from WIN & TECH in Italy, machines for sparkling wine production from TDD in France and depalletizing, bottle transport and packaging systems from MAS PACK from Italy.
The long-term cooperation with our progressive partners allows us to respond specifically to the wishes of our customers and offer extremely innovative technology and efficient service.
In order to do further justice to this, the Beverage Technology department moved into its own company building with a large assembly hall and extensive spare parts warehouse in 2017 and has been operating as the independent company CLEMENS Getränketechnik GmbH & Co KG since 2021.
